Parabolic softbox
Parabolische softbox · Light
A deep softbox with a parabolic shape that produces directional, contrasty light with a fast fall-off.
The parabolic shape concentrates light more than a regular softbox: you get soft light that is also directional and contrasty. A focusable design lets you slide the flash deeper or shallower in the dish, switching between harder directional light or a broader, softer spread. Popular in fashion and editorial for that signature combination of soft light with crisply defined shadows.
