TLR (Twin-Lens Reflex)

TLR (tweeoogcamera) · Analoog

A camera with two lenses: one for viewing the scene and one for making the exposure.

The most famous TLR is the Rolleiflex. You look down into the viewfinder; the image is mirrored. Because the viewing and taking lenses are slightly offset, parallax error occurs in close-ups. TLRs are stylish, relatively quiet, and popular with modern analogue photographers.
