Documentary photography of public life on the street, unposed.
The essence of street photography is being invisible and capturing the moment. Smaller cameras attract less attention. Starting values help you react quickly - think ahead as much as possible so you don't have to in the moment. One approach: shutter priority (1/500) when moving, aperture priority (f/4) when standing still. Auto-ISO with a limit (e.g. 3200) and auto white balance take two variables off your plate during the day. From there you adjust on instinct or based on what you just shot. Make eye contact or don't - both can work. In most countries, photographing in public spaces is legal.
