An autofocus function that automatically detects and focuses on the nearest eye of a person or animal.
Eye AF makes portrait photography significantly easier: the camera tracks the eye regardless of where the face is in the frame. Modern systems (Sony, Canon, Nikon, Fuji) also support animals and birds. Combine with continuous AF for tracking during movement.
