Light makes the difference: golden hour and blue hour have a special atmosphere, but every time of day offers opportunities. A tripod helps at small apertures for sharp images. Find a strong foreground that adds depth. Planning (PhotoPills, Windy) is at least as important as the camera. Patience is the best filter.
