Colour negative film

Kleurennegatief film · Analoog

The most common colour film: produces a negative that is printed or scanned.

Colour negative (C-41 process) is forgiving: a stop of over- or underexposure is no problem. Popular films: Kodak Gold 200, Kodak Ultramax 400, Fujifilm Superia 400, Kodak Portra 400 (skin tones), Kodak Ektar 100 (saturated colours, fine grain). Development via a photo lab; C-41 home processing is possible but temperature-critical (38°C).
