Headroom and looking room

Space above the head and in the direction the subject is looking.
Leave a little space above the head (not too much - it feels lost). Give the subject's gaze room: if someone looks right, leave more space on the right. Otherwise it feels claustrophobic. The same applies to movement: someone walking right gets space on the right.
