High-key

Light

A lighting style where the image is predominantly bright with few or soft shadows.

Typical for fashion, beauty, and cheerful portraits. Use multiple light sources to eliminate as many shadows as possible. The background is often white or light grey, sometimes intentionally overexposed. High-key is not the same as overexposure: the scene is deliberately lit this way.
