A lens with a short focal length that captures a wide field of view.
On full-frame format, anything below 35mm is considered wide-angle. Typical: 24mm, 28mm, 35mm. Popular for landscape, architecture, and street photography. Distorts perspective: nearby objects are emphasised and appear larger, distant objects recede quickly.
