Gobo
Light
A panel or screen that blocks or shapes light to prevent unwanted spill.
Gobo stands for "goes between". You place a gobo between the light source and background (or face) to prevent light from landing where you don't want it. Can be made of black foam board, cardboard, or a professional V-flat.
