Darkroom

Doka · Analoog

A light-proof room used for developing film negatives and printing photos on light-sensitive paper.

In the darkroom you work under red safelight (which doesn't expose most photo paper). Steps for black-and-white film: developer, stop bath, fixer, wash. Colour film requires more precise temperature control. Analogue prints made through an enlarger have a unique, handcrafted character.
