A rail along which the camera can smoothly slide for controlled movement in photo and video.
A slider provides a linear camera movement that adds dynamism to video. Also useful for time-lapses with camera movement. Motorised sliders move automatically over a set distance. Lengths range from 60 cm (compact and portable) to 1 metre or more (studio quality).
