Autofocus (AF)
Technique
The system that lets the camera focus automatically on a subject.
Modern cameras recognise faces, eyes and even animals. Single AF (AF-S / One Shot) locks focus after one press. Continuous AF (AF-C / AI Servo) tracks a moving subject. Use Eye AF for portrait: it automatically selects the nearest eye.
